When you look down at your iron, it should fill you with confidence. And when you know that iron is specifically designed to help you launch the ball easier, hit it longer and straighter, then you’re really freed up to go for the shot. That’s what the new Srixon ZX4 Iron is all about.
To find out how Srixon has done this, read on. Or, if you want to experience the ZX4 for yourself, then please,
To hit longer iron shots more easily, you need good energy transfer at impact. The hollow-body construction of the ZX4 enables a thinner face and redistribution of weight that increases ball speed, regardless of impact location.
Srixon’s A.I.-designed MainFrame face has grooves, channels, and cavities milled into it that generate faster ball speed across the face. So even when you stray off-center at impact, you aren’t straying into the rough or landing short of the green.
If you’re prone to striking slightly behind the ball with a shallow angle of attack, you’ll appreciate the V-shaped Tour V.T. Sole. This sole helps you glide through the turf and make better impact with the ball. All ZX Irons have the V.T. Sole.
If you struggle to get the ball up and consistently fall short of the target, the forgiving ZX4 is your best option.
If you’re looking for higher launch and lower spin, the ZX5 is the one to go with.
If you’re able to produce high ball speed and launch with your swing, but need help keeping spin up, the ZX7 would be better.
“By finding the point in your set where launch breaks down, we can create a combo set of ZX Irons that gives you help where you need it most.”
The ZX Utility is low-profile, compact, and blade-like, but it packs more forgiveness and control than you’ll get from your long irons. This is the club to hit when you’re going for a long approach, hitting down a tight fairway, or playing in the wind.
But remember, you’re losing any added forgiveness and control if the lie angle and shaft aren’t right for you. To get the most out of brand new technology, a fitting is so important.
