What’s your
IDEAL SPIN RATE?

Happy with your swing but not your distance? Struggling with ballooning drives or a stubborn slice? Excess spin might very well be the culprit. While there is no ideal spin rate that applies to all golfers, we find that many golfers are launching the ball too low with too much spin. This is the ultimate distance-killing combo.

Fast swings generating high ball speed benefit from a spin rate of about 2,500-2,700 revolutions per minute (rpm) with driver, to prevent the ball from ballooning and losing carry.

Slower swings need a driver spin rate of about 2,900-3,000 rpm to get their drives airborne and increase hangtime for more carry.

Before we can help you reach your full distance potential, we’ll need to do a fitting benchmark to find out if the amount of spin you’re generating is appropriate for your swing speed and launch angle. Then we can make the right adjustments to your loft, shaft flex and attack angle.
