A new material with so much additional ball speed, Mizuno’s engineers could focus on feel and stopping power.

The Mizuno JPX923 Hot Metal Irons are literally made with a new hot metal: Nickel Chromoly. How is it so hot? How is it so fast? Nickel Chromoly is 35% stronger than the original Chromoly. That allows the face to be made much thinner, offering an even greater trampoline effect on impact with the ball.

Now the engineers and designers can concentrate on feel and feedback.

A ‘V-chassis’ first adds stability to an iron that has a very flexible face, and then it supports a vibration pattern better ball strikers recognize.

Three models to help bring that feel and feedback to all our golfers

The JPX923 Hot Metal Pro for the better and more consistent ball strikers. Great feel. Increased ball speed. More consistent ball speeds especially lower on the face.

The JPX923 Hot Metal for the solid ball striker who will benefit both from the added distance and a broader hitting area delivering more consistent ball speeds and launch.

The JPX923 Hot Metal HL will create a reputation and following amongst those golfers with moderate and slower swing speeds. These irons enable a higher launch which, along with the added ball speed, delivers a longer carry but, crucially, a steeper angle of descent for stopping power.
